Venue Protect: measures for safe and controlled event environments

Following the release of its ‘Returning To Business Under Social Distancing Blueprint’ in May, the NEC Group has published further plans on how it intends to keep visitors safe, as the events industry prepares for its resurgence following strict lockdown measures.

 

Branded ‘Venue Protect’, the measures comprise of:

• Supporting Testing and Tracing

• Social Distancing

• Enhanced Venue Sanitisation

• Communication

Initially being rolled out across the company’s exhibition and conference venues, Venue Protect aims to provide not only a strict checklist of operational measures, but reassurance for organisers and visitors that the Group can operate COVID safe, controlled events.
