NEC Group scoops 'In-house Team of the Year' at PRCA Midlands Dare Awards 2023

The UK’s leading live events company, NEC Group, has scooped the award for ‘In-house Team of the Year’ at the annual PRCA Midlands Dare Awards 2023.  

The NEC Group PR and Communications team is responsible for the reputation and strategic communications activity for the UK’s leading live events company, which owns and operates NEC Birmingham, ICC Birmingham, Vox Conference Venue, Uitlita Arena Birmingham and Resorts World Arena.  

It also operates service brands; national ticketing agency, The Ticket Factory; Amadeus catering and Amplify hospitality. The publicity and reputation management for all these brands is managed by four individuals, each playing an active role in delivering the business strategy.  

The NEC Group were shortlisted alongside The British Horse Society, Water Plus and the West Midlands Growth Company, with the glittering awards ceremony taking place at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on Tuesday 4 July.  

The team were awarded ‘In-house Team of the Year’ as a result of the successful execution of supporting PR activity in a fast-paced post-pandemic environment, including Concert for Ukraine, Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Wireless Festival and the Conservative Party Conference.
