SHOULD YOU BOOK YOUR CHRISTMAS PARTY IN THE SUMMER?
As August draws to a close, our clients often ask us how early they should start booking their Christmas parties. Is now too early?
Not in the slightest – in fact, we always recommend the earlier the better! After 40 years of hosting festive events we hope you take our word for it when we say it plans to pay ahead. So, if you are in charge of planning your company or team’s Christmas party here are out top five tips for why you should book your festive celebrations now:
1. You’re more likely to be able to secure the venue of your choice
Booking early gives you the widest variety of venue options. You could hire your own venue or book a joiner party, start looking early and the possibilities are endless!
2. You will be able to book your ideal date
Top Tip: If your budget is tight consider a midweek joiner party as these are often more cost effective than a Friday or Saturday night
3. You will be able to secure overnight accommodation
We know hotels get extremely busy at Christmas with people leaving the car at home or at the office so they can let their hair down with colleagues, so it pays to book accommodation early as you are more likely to get the best rate and availability.
4. It gives you plenty of time to plan your event
From the guest list, theming and invitations through to the decorations themselves, booking several months in advance gives you time to consider the details that can really make the event wow your party guests.
5. Relax!
