The One and Only Celine Dion has announced extra dates to the UK leg of her huge World Tour including The NIA Birmingham on May 10 2008.

"Taking Chances" World Tour 2008 promises to be another spectacular live concert event where Celine will perform her biggest hits along with songs from her new English album Taking Chances.

Celine Dion is the biggest selling female artist of all time, selling over 180 million albums. She opens her first worldwide tour in 10 years on February 14 in Johannesburg, giving a benefit concert for the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund.

"These past five years of performing at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas has been an incredibly rewarding experience from myself and my family, but I'm ready to hit the road again, with my husband and son by my side," says Dion. "We released a new French album several months ago and a new English one is on the way, so it's going to be exciting to perform these new songs with a brand new show, especially in front of the big audiences in stadiums and arenas. We always enjoyed touring Europe,,,the fans are so passionate, I'm looking forward to visiting cities that we've toured in before as well as performing in places that we've never been to. I can't wait!"
