A fun and easy new method of collecting visitors' information is being trialled at two of Birmingham's biggest venues, giving participants the chance to gain rewards.
State-of-the art mobile touch-screen computers called Adwalkers are being introduced at The NEC and NEC Arena between now and Christmas, giving visitors the opportunity to benefit from special offers and priority booking for some shows.
Carried by trained operators, the Adwalkers feature a hand-held unit and screen mounted into a vest, with participating visitors receiving on-the-spot print-off promotional tickets.
Helen Danks, Head of Visitor Marketing, said: 'We are really excited by this initiative. The Adwalkers are an innovative and fun way of encouraging people to sign up to our database. The screens are worn on the body and can display animated graphics to really grab people's attention.'
'Customers who join the email database will be the first to find out what is going on at our venues and we are giving them the chance to get the best seats for some of the amazing concerts that we host.'
Customers who take part will also be given the chance to win a pair of free tickets to a concert of their choice in 2008. |
