Two of the UK’s largest exhibition organisers have switched their ticketing contracts to The Ticket Factory, along with six other shows in the last six weeks, making it the preferred choice for over half of the UK’s top 20 consumer shows.

Upper Street Events, the leading UK-based consumer events company, has moved its entire portfolio from Interchange to the Ticket Factory, including The Cycle Show, Festival of Quilts and Gadget Show. Upper Street Events will use The Ticket Factory to ticket for 18 of its events.

E-gaming specialists, Multiplay, have followed suit moving its rapidly growing portfolio of international Insomnia events from Eventbrite. Last year more than 100,000 people attended Insomnia with more planned for 2016.

The Ticket Factory has also secured contracts with The Photography Show 2016, BRICK LIVE 2016 – the UK’s largest LEGO exhibition, Kidtropolis, The Family Pet Show 2016 and the only large-scale consumer science exhibition in the UK, New Scientist Live. Additionally, the national ticketing agent has secured a contract with Can You Dance?, the UK’s first touring dance convention. The convention will use The Ticket Factory to ticket all seven of its regional events.

These events join The Ticket Factory’s existing exhibition roster which includes Haymarket (Autosport International and The Clothes Show), River Street (BBC Good Food and BBC Gardeners’ World Live), Crufts and Motorcycle Live.

“They’ve worked with us to create bespoke ticketing journeys, to make booking tickets for our events simple and quick. They have given us bespoke technology which integrates seamlessly with our event brands and access to marketing channels which will help us find new audiences.”
