The Killers thrilled a capacity crowd at the Genting Arena last night, in the first of two sold out shows at the venue as they kicked off their huge world tour.

Over 15,000 ‘Victims’ filled the Birmingham venue, to hear the sonically forward-thinking material from their latest album, ‘Wonderful Wonderful’, which topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic, becoming the Las Vegas band’s record-breaking fifth consecutive UK #1. Playing host to some of the band’s classics such as ‘Mr Brightside’, ‘Somebody Told Me’ and ‘Human’ alongside recent hit single, ‘The Man’, the show was bursting with all of the blazing choruses and arena-filling anthems that have made The Killers one of the world’s biggest and most beloved rock bands.

Guy Dunstan, General Manager of the Genting Arena said: “This is a band that constantly pushes the boundaries of stage performance, and last night they didn’t disappoint. Proving why they continue to be one of the world’s hottest rock bands, they delivered a hit-laden show that left the audience in complete awe. The perfect opener to what is sure to be an iconic world tour, this was indie-rock n roll at its finest.”

The Killers will perform their second night at the Genting Arena this evening (7th November).
