Amadeus delivers catering solutions to venues and event organisers who want to provide visitors with a unique and memorable food experience. Unlike its competitors, Amadeus does this differently by drawing on 40 years’ experience operating in venues and creating events as part of the NEC Group.
The customer portfolio includes delivering catering solutions to around four million visitors per year at the NEC Group venues (the NEC, The ICC, Genting Arena, Arena Birmingham - formerly the Barclaycard Arena - and Vox Conference Centre), and at a range of additional major ‘meet’ and ‘visit’ external events and venues, including The Scottish Open, Cadbury World, Stoneleigh Abbey, Compton Verney art gallery and the East of England Arena and Events Centre.
Amadeus utilises its Oak Kitchen restaurant brand and MADE Café concept in many of the venues; it also operates the Starbucks brand at three outlets in addition to managing outlets for retail partners JD Wetherspoons, Starbucks, Subway, Cornish Pastry Company, Jimmy Spices and DP Coffee.
In 2016 Amadeus introduced a brand new restaurant experience to the NEC, The Edge. The Edge offers four deliciously different styles of retail food, from freshly prepared deli sandwiches to homemade cake on the go from MADE Café, a hearty and heartfelt homemade meal from the Oak Kitchen, to delicious meat options from the Butcher and Grill and stone baked pizzas at their new Italian restaurant EvViva.

great quality suppliers
Wherever possible Amadeus uses local suppliers to fulfil customer’s requirements. Food miles are impressively low – approximately 80% of suppliers are located within a 30-mile radius of the catering base. Where seasons allow, Amadeus aim to showcase British produce. The team work with trusted suppliers who understand their requirements to ensure they receive great quality and service from supply partners. This ensures that the freshest ingredients are being used and enables the culinary team to create great food for clients.
