Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials has appointed The Ticket Factory (TTF) as the exclusive advanced ticket agent for its 2018 event.

The move is set to deliver an enhanced booking journey for customers upon box office launch on 26 April.  Building a bespoke and easily navigable ticket site, TTF will be servicing both member and general public sales primarily on its online platform, with the facility for customers to also book by phone.

The agent, which has over 40 years’ industry experience, is also providing a gift voucher booking option, with sums redeemable against online purchases in advance of the event.  The supporting TTF marketing package is also set to help increase advance ticket sales, using a mix of above and below the line promotion, whilst also tapping into TTF’s strong customer database.

Named as one of the Top Ten UK Sporting Events of 2017*, the 2018 event (taking place from 30 August – 2 September) is expecting to attract over 160,000 equestrian enthusiasts to the site on the Cambridgeshire/Lincolnshire border.

Richard Howle, Director of Ticketing for The Ticket Factory, said the contract was a welcome addition to the agent’s client roster: “We’ve had rapid growth in the equestrian, pet and country show sector in recent years, and to now be working with such a prestigious event is testament to how well The Ticket Factory has been performing for clients.  Our ethos is to make ticketing fast, simple and fun for customers, and we hope that customers of the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials have the best possible purchasing experience with us.”

Event Director for Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, Elizabeth Inman, added: “We are delighted to be working with The Ticket Factory and look forward to creating a booking system that is quick and easy to use for our customers.”
