Marwood Events has, once again, chosen the NEC for one of its events; this time for the launch of Roofex – a new specialist event for the UK roofing industry.
This comes hot on the heels of the UK Concrete Show, which Marwood Events chose to relocate to the Birmingham venue earlier this year from Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.
Event Director, Steven Callaghan, said: “We’ve identified the roofing sector as an industry badly in need of their own specialist event and we believe that Roofex will go on to achieve the same levels of success that we’ve already hit with the UK Concrete Show.
“We’re confident that the NEC will also contribute to the event’s success. We already know it’s a venue with a proven track record of successful launch shows and it’s the place where events grow – we’re very much looking forward to working with the NEC team to make this a great event.”
NEC Account Manager, David Gallagher, said: “We’re thrilled Marwood Events has chosen the NEC for their new launch. We know we’re the number one venue in the UK and we’ve clearly been able to demonstrate that to them, in a relatively short space of time, since they contracted with us earlier this year for the UK Concrete Show. That show takes place this coming February and has been a great grounding for our relationship, providing the opportunity for us to instil confidence in the partnership and show them just how we can work together to make the most out of their event.”
To be held on 1 and 2 May 2013 in Hall 8 at the NEC, Roofex aims to attract well over 100 exhibitors and will feature a CPD theatre, training workshops and free demonstrations – an unmissable event for anyone in the roofing trade as well as architects, engineers, specialist merchants and hire shops.
