60 SECONDS WITH

What made you join the NEC Group communications team?
I’m from a musical family – my Dad owns a record company and my mum’s a singer – so the chance to work for two of the best live music venues in the UK was a big draw. That mixed with working for six fantastic brands... I knew I’d never be bored.

What’s the first gig you went to?
I think it was the Take That ‘Everything Changes’ tour in the mid-90s... and I love them just as much now as I did then.

If you were going on to a desert island, what would your luxury item be?
My phone – I couldn’t actually live without it – but that’s providing the island has electricity of course.

If you were going to do an X Factor style duet with your favourite singer, who would it be?
Rod Stewart – I’m pretty sure I know (almost) every word to every song. Plus, my Dad loves him so it would make his day to see his two favourite people on stage together.

What’s your karaoke song?
Shania Twain ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ (need I say any more...)

If you found yourself in Team GB what sport would you play?
Is shopping an Olympic sport?

If anyone could play you in a movie of your life who would you want it to be?
Lauren Conrad. People always joke that my life is like The Hills so I may as well live up to it.

What can't you leave the house without (and you can't say keys)?
Straight hair... no one needs to see my natural frizz (thank you GHD!)

Who are your three dream dinner guests, dead or alive?
William Shakespeare – I love working with words so I’d like to learn from the master. Henry VIII – I’m intrigued to know what it is that kept the ladies coming back; I mean, he was beheading people left, right and centre and still pulling girls. Max Clifford – It’s guaranteed that he’s got some amazing stories. I’d have to declare Chatham House Rules though so that he could tell me all of the gossip!

What website couldn’t you live without?
Daily Mail Showbiz... it’s my guilty pleasure!
