The Vox conference centre is pleased to announce that MSDUK will be hosting its annual conference and awards at the Birmingham based venue in September 2018.

MSDUK is the UK’s leading non-profit membership organisation driving inclusive procurement. The event facilitates networking, knowledge sharing and growth opportunities for Ethnic Minority Businesses (EMBs) and Corporations looking to connect with a diverse range of likeminded businessmen and women.

The two-day event, which will take place over 25-26 September, will attract over 700 delegates and is considered to be one of the biggest events in the UK for championing supply chain diversity and inclusion.

Mayank Shah, CEO of MSDUK said: “We are delighted to be bringing our annual conference and awards to the Vox. The venue itself offers outstanding flexibility for workshops, seminars and presentations, especially as the space can be configured to our specific needs – the moving walls are fantastic. We were also looking for a venue which brings something different to the table in terms of catering and we are extremely impressed by the food offering.”

This will be the sixth MSDUK Conference and Awards, but it will be the first time the event has been hosted outside London, so the new location was carefully considered.

Mayank added: “The location is very important for us as we were looking for an easily accessible central UK location. We have delegates that attend from within the UK but also the US, Australia, Canada, South Africa, China and from across Europe, so the excellent transport links to Vox by air, road and rail means we can easily accommodate both national and international guests.

“Overall, we wanted a venue that values delegate experience as much as we do. We truly believe our delegates will be wowed by what the Vox will bring to our event.”

Donna Cunningham, Account Director for the Vox said: “We are really looking forward to hosting the MSDUK Conference and Awards in September. The event itself has challenged us to bring innovative and technically advanced solutions, and we cannot wait to show what our talented production and catering teams create.

“For the Vox, we put the customer experience at the heart of everything we do and we look forward to working with MSDUK to create a successful event.”
