New lighting system to transform the customer experience.

A state of the art LED work light and colour changing audience system with full DMX control has been installed at the Genting Arena-the first system of its kind to be installed in a UK arena.

New audience LED fixtures will be individually controlled and have the ability to produce a multitude of colours, transforming the look and feel of the arena bowl pre, during and post event and dramatically enhancing the experience for customers.  Additional benefits at the Birmingham venue also include reduced light glare to audiences during events.

The working lights have also been replaced with a new LED florescent fitting that will raise the overall light levels in the bowl, and the control system has been completely renewed with super-fast fibre optic cables and ETC programs. This will create a stable future-proof control system with ability to integrate with visiting productions’ lighting desks.

The Genting Arena’s expert in-house technical team will be fully trained in the usage of the new system, ensuring they have the knowledge to enhance spectacular shows.  Programming, fault finding and show states will also be carried out by the team.
