Amadeus secures exclusive five-year deal with Boughton House

Further to a tender process, Amadeus has been awarded a five-year contract with a turnover of £2m for the exclusive supply of catering and sales for historic venue, Boughton House in Northamptonshire.

Amadeus Sales Director, Chris Reynolds, secured the deal with Boughton House – one of Britain’s grandest and best-preserved stately homes with 18th-century landscaped gardens, woodlands and a grand country park, as well as one of Britain’s most outstanding collections of fine art. 

The contract will be run by Amadeus’ General Manager Samantha Bates and her team, and Sales Executive Lucy Wheate will head up the team to grow events at the venue.  Amadeus will be responsible for event sales predominantly for the Tapestry Suite, which has been newly created to provide facilities for corporate events, weddings, meetings and presentations. A purpose built bar provides space for reception drinks, informal meetings and break out space. 

For outdoor events, the team also have the use of a purpose built walled barbeque lawn and Boughton also boasts a Stable Café located on the ground floor of the stable block, which serves the needs of public visitors to the Estate and pre-booked coach parties on a limited opening hour basis during Easter and August.

In addition Amadeus will assist with the delivery of food and beverage services to areas that are sold by the House including: The Great Hall and the Colonnade licensed for weddingsand outside areas including the formal west lawns, gardens and courtyards.
