Multi-award winning caterer, Amadeus has won an exclusive five-year contract to provide catering services at Moseley Rugby Club.

The contract will include the 320-capacity function suite within the Rugby Club’s brand new stand and adjoining facility which is used by Birmingham City Indoor Bowls Club and can seat up to 410 people.

As part of the deal with Moseley Rugby Club, Amadeus will play a key role attracting and retaining events on non-match days, such as corporate functions and private parties. The club has ambitious plans to continue the development of its new facility in order to attract the regional business community and Amadeus will use its expertise in catering and hospitality to help achieve this.

Bill Redwood, General Manager at Moseley Rugby Club, said: “We chose Amadeus because we know that they will take our catering offer to a new level which will further enhance the reputation of our great rugby club and drive revenues which we can re-invest to continue to elevate our club through to the premiership.”

The deal is another positive move for Amadeus, part of the NEC Group, who are fast establishing themselves as a leading caterer for sporting venues and events having achieved record sales at a number of golfing events last summer. At the Scottish Open revenue increased 41% against budget, whilst at Dunhill Links and the Ricoh Women's British Open, budget was exceeded by 10% and 11% respectively. Amadeus also has a strong relationship with the LTA; providing catering services at the AEGON Classic at Edgbaston and AEGON International at Eastbourne.

Chris Reynolds, Sales Director at Amadeus said: “This is an exciting project that we are thrilled to be part of. At Amadeus, we tailor our offer to the clients’ needs and objectives to add value wherever we can. With almost 40years’ experience in the catering industry, a great track record in the sporting sector and high quality food and service we are confident that we can help Moseley Rugby Club achieve their growth targets.
